Appointment of person to open the extraordinary general meeting

Attorney Harald Arnkværn has been appointed by Trondheim Tingrett to open the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting in Trondheim on February 2nd 2009.
In a letter dated January 23 2009, DNO International ASA (DNO) put forward a petition that tingretten appoints a person to open the extraordinary general meeting on February 2nd 2009 in Det norske oljeselskap ASA (“Det norske”).
Tingretten appointed Harald Arnkværn, who was suggested by the attorney representing DNO.
