A summer internship at Aker BP offers 6-8 weeks of hands-on experience within a relevant field, giving you valuable insight into our industry and what it is like to work with us. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, expand your professional network, and connect with fellow summer interns through both social and professional activities.
You will be a part of a department responsible for analysis and drilling or well engineering tasks.
Typical work tasks can be checking reference wells or analyzing a barrier diagram to identify possible leak points and barrier weaknesses.
Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs combined with your field of expertise and your interests.
Qualifications:
- Preferably enrolled in a master program within Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering or similar, and in your 3rd or 4th year.
- Interested in drilling and wells, with knowledge about the subsurface.
- Working proficiency in English and/or Norwegian, both written and spoken.
