Disclosure of voting rights

Reference is made to the extraordinary general meeting in Det norske oljeselskap ASA (`the Company`) in Trondheim on 24 June 2009, where Erik Haugane has received 11 952 175 power of attorneys.

Together with the 1 167 475 shares that Haugane owns or controls by himself, Haugane will in total control 13 119 650 shares at the extraordinary general meeting, representing 20.21 percent of outstanding shares.
