Disclosure of voting rights

Reference is made to the extraordinary general meeting in Det norske oljeselskap ASA (`the Company`) in Trondheim on 19 October at 5 p.m. Board Member in the Company, Kaare Gisvold has as of 15 October received 4.359.186 power of attorneys to vote on the extraordinary general meeting. Gisvold has thus exceeded the 5 percent disclosure threshold in relation to the number of voting rights in the Company to be exercised without instruction.

Including own shares, Gisvold has voting rights for 4.582.821 shares, which represents 7,06 percent of the votes in the Company.
