Confirms discovery at Fulla

Det norske oljeselskap ASA (DETNOR) refers to message from Dana Petroleum to the London Stock Exchange. Det norske confirm a discovery at the Fulla prospect (well 30/11-7A) in licenses 362 and 035B. Det norske hold identical shares in the two licenses with 15 percent. StatoilHydro is operator for the licenses.

Det norske will give no further comments before the results will be released by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate .
