Impact assessments Yggdrasil (formely NOAKA)
The purpose of the impact assessments (IAs) in the Yggdrasil area is to account for the effects that the development and its operation could have on the environment, including cultural monuments and cultural environment, natural resources and society.
The Yggdrasil IAs have been prepared to ensure these effects have been taken into account in the decision-making process. Below is all documentation related to the Yggdrasil IA process.
Yggdrasil (formerly NOAKA), consists of the Hugin, Fulla and Munin licence groups (formely NOA, Fulla and Krafla), and the area is located between Alvheim and Oseberg. The area is home to a number of discoveries and contains a total of around 650 million barrels of oil equivalent. Aker BP is operator of the Yggdrasil area, with Equinor and PGNIG Upstream Norway as licence partners.
