Our core focus is operating safely and efficiently while keeping costs and emissions low. Concurrently, we are committed to growing and providing attractive returns for our shareholders and society.  

As a leading company, we are determined to revolutionise the oil and gas industry. We are driving a productivity revolution through new technology and digitalisation.  

Aker BP is one of Europe’s largest independent oil and gas companies, with some of the lowest production emissions globally. 

We are developing new high-tech fields on the Norwegian continental shelf. Our projects, which involve thousands of people and numerous subcontractors across Norway and worldwide, will increase our production to over half a million barrels by 2028.  

Setting high goals requires finding innovative ways to achieve them, challenging established norms, and enhancing all aspects of the business.  

In 2022, we unveiled the slogan “Rebel with a Cause” at the ONS conference in Stavanger. We identified with the description of rebels pursuing radical improvements while contributing to Europe’s energy security and creating value for shareholders and Norway.  

Two years have passed, and our company is experiencing rapid growth. Despite this year’s ONS theme being “Imagine,” we are building the future without indulging in fantasy.
