Merger between Det norske oljeselskap ASA and Aker Exploration ASA completed

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice dated 21 December 2009 on the completion of the merger between Aker Exploration ASA and Det norske oljeselskap ASA.

The merger was completed by registration in the Register of Business Enterprises on Oslo Børs after the trading closed 22 December 2009 on Oslo Børs .

By completion of the merger, Aker Exploration ASA has amended its name to Det norske oljeselskap ASA and has taken over the ticker code “DETNOR”. The merged Company’s shares (ticker code DETNOR – ISIN no NO 001 0345853 – organization no. 989 795 848) will today have its first day of trading on the Oslo Børs. The last day of trading of Aker Exploration ASA’s shares on Oslo Axess was 22 December 2009.

The registered issued share capital in Det norske oljeselskap ASA upon completion of the merger is NOK 111,111,111, divided into 111,111,111 shares fully paid up, each with a par value of NOK 1.

The Articles of Association are amended in accordance with the abovementioned.
An updated transcript of the Certificate of Registration is attached hereto.
