A summer internship in Aker BP will give you 6-8 weeks of practical experience within a relevant field of expertise and a taste of what it's like to work for us. You will socialize with other summer interns, grow your professional network, and learn from experienced professionals.

You will be a part of a department responsible for the operation of all subsea infrastructure at Aker BP.

Typical work tasks can be:

  • Risk assessments and fault finding of subsea equipment, planning of offshore operations.

  • Follow-up and review of subsea inspections, support with information and development of digital tools and programming of algorithms for condition monitoring of subsea equipment.

Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs combined with your field of expertise and your interests.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a relevant master program within a relevant engineering discipline, e.g. Mechanical, Process, Civil, Subsea, Automation, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or similar. You are in your 4th year.

  • Interested in solving challenges and learning more about Subsea

  • English or Norwegian language working proficiency
