Drilling & Wells is responsible for delivery of large project portfolio with total net resources of more than 700 million barrels of oil equivalents, and a comprehensive exploration campaign to support future organic growth.

We are looking for a Drilling & Wells Engineer to join D&W’s Digital Execution team and work with one or several delivery lines supporting D&W’s digitalization agenda.

The D&W Digital Execution team is responsible ensuring that Drilling & Wells teams have the necessary digital tools, infrastructure, and data available to maximize the value creation from this portfolio and take our performance to the next level.

This position will report to the D&W Digital Portfolio Manager

Typical work tasks can be:

  • Follow up and coordinate the roadmap deliveries from delivery lines.
  • Perform well planning & engineering work in order to: define requirements, needs or validate digital tool’s.
  • Capture learnings and improvement suggestions from the D&W teams and translate into actions for the product teams developing digital tools
  • Support cross-functional Value Stream teams
  • Collaborate with partners & vendors.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant M.Sc. degree, relevant experience can compensate for education.
  • Sound technical understanding of well planning and/or operations.
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
  • Good understanding of how digitalization will affect how we work.
