Senior Accountant

We are looking for a new employee to further strengthen the Accounts Payable (AP) team.
In addition to transactional tasks, the position will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, while working cross-functionally to close gaps and streamline processes. Additionally, the position will be involved in ad-hoc requests, prepare KPI reports, reconcile GRIR & SRIR accounts and step in for the Finance Manager AP when needed.
Typical tasks will include:

Processing of incoming invoices

Monitor the vendor invoice system, identify process deviations and drive continuous improvement

Work cross functionally and with multiple teams to identify/close gaps

Continually look for ways to streamline processes together with the AP team and eliminate unnecessary work

Assist with other ad-hoc requests and projects as needed

Prepare reports as input to internal control key performance indicators

Analyze and reconcile deviation on Goods/Service receipt and Invoice receipt balance sheet accounts
Qualifications:

A Master/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related education is required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

Proficiency is SAP and Excel

Preferably strong skills in VAT regulation
