Marit Blaasmo and Rolf Kristian Nystein welcomes you to the 2021 Supplier Day and will lead you through an inspiring event including safety updates, market forecasts, emerging trends and examples on how Aker BP aim to team up with suppliers to deliver world class results. Aker BP’s strategy is to produce oil and gas safer, with lower emissions and at lower cost than today, and our supply chain partners is vital to succeed with this transformation. The program is designed to investigate and discuss some of the key building blocks we need to deliver our strategy.

The future operating model for Aker BP is very much based on the concept of “Remote First”. Activity that can safely be delivered from the onshore with the right quality, must be delivered from the onshore. In this section Hege Fjell Urdahl will discuss experiences and the future of remote working with some of our key partners from Halliburton, ABB, DNV-GL and Deep Ocean.

Simplification, Commercial Models

In this section Arne Magnus Rise and Georg Vidnes will discuss simplification and removal of waste in our value chains and introduce you to two cases from our Modification and Asset Integrity Alliances where collaboration has delivered exactly that.Further, we will look at the “money side” and introduce a video that calls for collaboration to find the commercial models that will boost and not hold back the transformation we seek – including some initial responses from selected suppliers. The section will be rounded off with a short summary of the results from our annual strategic supplier survery; “Are we good at being a customer”

Productivity, safety and quality

Correlation between productivity, quality and HSSE is an often discussed topic in our industry. We have therefore invited three of our alliance partners, represented by, Steinar Røgenes (Aker Solutions AS), Jean Marc Lopez (Halliburton AS) and Monica Bjørkmann (Subsea 7 Norway AS), together with Aker BP’s Marit Blaasmo, to discuss how we balance and correlate between productivity, quality and HSSE in our Strategic partnership through Alliances.
