Karl Johnny Hersvik
Chief Executive Officer
Karl Johnny Hersvik (born 1972) has been CEO of Aker BP since May 2014. Prior to joining Aker BP, he served as head of research for Statoil. Mr. Hersvik has held a number of specialist and executive positions with Norsk Hydro and StatoilHydro.
Mr. Hersvik holds a Cand. Scient. (second cycle) degree in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Bergen. -
David Torvik Tønne
Chief Financial Officer
David Torvik Tønne (born 1985) comes from the position of VP Corporate. Controlling in Aker BP. Mr. Tønne has been with the company since January 2017.
Tønne holds a master’s degree in finance from NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Prior to Aker BP, he worked for The Boston Consulting Group. -
Øyvind Bratsberg
Special Advisor
Øyvind Bratsberg (born 1959) joined Aker BP in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer. He has 30 years’ experience from several companies in the areas of marketing, business development and operations. Before taking up his position with Det norske (Aker BP), he was responsible for early-phase field development on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for StatoilHydro.
Mr. Bratsberg holds an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTH, now the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU. -
Evy Glørstad
SVP Exploration and Reservoir Development
Evy Glørstad (born 1975) comes from the position as Asset Development Manager for NOAKA. Ms. Glørstad has been with the company since 2011.
Glørstad holds a PhD in Petroleum geology/sedimentology. She has a broad experience as a geologist from BP in Norway and the US. Her PhD focused on seismic stratigraphy, providing stratigraphic control to all sub-projects under PETROBAR, and focused on the Triassic succession in the Barents Sea.
She has held several managerial positions in Aker BP since joining the company. -
Knut Sandvik
SVP Projects
Knut Sandvik (born 1962) joined Aker BP in July 2019. Prior to joining Aker BP, Mr. Sandvik has worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, Sandvik has held various senior project and leadership positions across Aker Solutions, most recently as EVP Greenfield Projects. Mr. Sandvik holds a degree in Mechanical Offshore Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland.

Per Harald Kongelf
SVP Improvement
Per Harald Kongelf (born 1959) is responsible for Aker BP’s improvement program. Prior to joining Aker BP, Per Harald Kongelf served as head of the Norwegian operations in Aker Solutions.
Mr. Kongelf holds an MSc degree from NTNU in Trondheim and has more than 25 years of industrial experience through numerous technical and management positions in Aker Solutions. -
Marit Blaasmo
SVP HSEQ
Marit Blaasmo (born 1975) comes from the position in Aker BP as responsible for the Drilling & Wells performance and improvement agenda. Ms. Blaasmo has been with the company since 2017 and holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Prior to joining Aker BP, Ms. Blaasmo has held multiple roles within Drilling & Wells at Baker Hughes INTEQ and Equinor.

Lene Landøy
SVP Strategy & Business Development
Lene Landøy (born 1979) comes from the position of VP Strategy, Portfolio and Analysis in Aker BP. Mrs. Landøy has been with the company since January 2017.
Landøy has a master’s degree in finance from NHH Norwegian School of Economics/University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She also holds a master’s degree in international finance from the Skema Business School in France.
Prior to joining Aker BP, she led Equinor’s business development unit on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. -
Ine Dolve
SVP Operations & Asset Development
Ine Dolve (born 1975) comes from the position VP Operations & Asset development for Skarv in Aker BP. She has worked with the company since 2010.
Dolve holds a master degree in Finance and International Management from NHH Norwegian School of Economics / ESADE, Barcelona. She is also educated at the Commandant’s School by the Air Force and the Naval War Academy in Bergen.
Before joining Aker BP, she worked with management consulting within O&G for PwC and has several years of experience from the Armed Forces nationally and internationally. -
Tommy Sigmundstad
SVP Drilling and Well
Tommy Sigmundstad (born 1970) comes from the position of Vice President Wells BP Asia Pacific. Sigmundstad has broad experience within the oil and gas industry from companies such as Baker Hughes and Philips, before joining BP in 2000. Within BP, Sigmundstad has held different operational, engineering and management positions in Norway, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan and Indonesia.
Mr. Sigmundstad holds a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from University of Stavanger. -
Lars Høier
SVP and Asset Manager NOAKA
Lars Høier (born 1967) joined Aker BP in July 2019, and comes from a position in Aker BP as VP for Concept Development and Technology.
Prior to joining Aker BP he had over 20 years of experience from Equinor, with positions as SVP for R&D, as well as production director for several assets, among them the Troll field.
Høier holds a Cand Scient degree in Physics from the University in Oslo and a PhD in Petroleum technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
