We are looking for a Senior Quality & Governance Coordinator who is familiar with Field Development processes and project execution, and who is passionate about finding best practise and standardise the way we work.

This role will have functional home in HSSEQ – Quality & Governance but will be seconded to Project Excellence department in Project Business Unit (PRO).

Senior Quality & Governance Coordinator for Projects (PRO) shall contribute to ensure that Quality Management processes and framework are implemented and executed in PRO.

One of the main tasks will be to support the optimization and continual improvement of Field Development processes in close cooperation with process owners and the Improvement & Digitalisation team. This includes to give advice and support when identifying areas of improvement for HOW WE WORK and digital initiatives, ensure our Business Management System (BMS) reflect desired best practises, and advise in how to implement changes.

This role will also be responsible for establishing Project Business Unit’s assurance plan, to ensure conformity to our Field Development processes with the objective to execute safely and reduce quality cost.

Typical tasks will include:

  • Support implementation and execution of Quality Management processes and methods which include; Management of Change (MoC), Assurance activities, Handling of Quality Incidents, and standardization through Business Management System.
  • Participate in identification of areas of improvements based on reported improvement proposals and findings from assurance activities.
  • Advise and support process owners in their work, optimising and continual improving their business processes and related governing documents.
  • Facilitate process mapping workshops using scoping techniques as SIPOC, Value stream analysis etc.
  • Maintain and update BMS content (processes and governing documents) in close cooperation with process owner according to Aker BP’s BMS specification and guidelines
  • Ensure alignment and connectivity with other process areas outside Project BU, to enable end-to-end perspective and to avoid duplication of governance.
  • Advise and support in use of MoC process when implementing improvements
  • Perform general BMS training and user assistance
  • Monitor and follow up quality incident reporting, trends and actions plans on Business Unit level
  • Coordinate and follow-up the establishment of PRO BU’s assurance plan and assist in execution of assurance activities.
  • Prepare and follow up governance review report for all governance elements (processes and governing documents) to ensure that governance is reviewed on regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Professional competence and experience with Quality Assurance and Business Management System (preferably with using QualiWare)
  • Strong E&P and project execution (New Build- and Modification) knowledge and minimum 5 years experience within E&P.
  • Curious, pro-active attitude and continuous strive for achieving improvements through increased utilization of digitalization and flow efficient processes
  • Experience within process scoping, facilitation and process mapping.
  • Critically thinking and be able to process new information
  • Strong team player, seeking collaboration with focus on what is best for business
  • Ability to ‘get things done’ in a structured way in a hectic and demanding business unit
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
