Aker BP’s Organisational Change Managers use their knowledge and experience of change management to orchestrate and facilitate change, adoption, and transformation at different levels in the organisation.

As an Organisational Change Manager for DataOps, you are a key enabler of this ambition; facilitates the change process and empowering individuals, teams and the organisation to change more efficiently towards a data driven company.

This position will have its functional/competence home in the Digital/DataOps function.

DataOps is responsible for operationalizing the vision and strategy for data and information governance and management within Aker BP, enabling the ‘data as an asset’ vision and our ambition is to be recognized as a best-in-class competence center driving innovative use of data throughout the Aker BP enterprise ecosystem. Together with IT & Cyber Security, the Digital Transformation Program Eureka and Enterprise Architecture, we are the building blocks of the Digital corporate function in Aker BP.

Who you are

  • You enjoy coaching and mentoring individuals and teams to guide and maximise change adoption while minimising resistance.
  • You have experience applying structured change management methodology and practices to meet project/initiative/improvement/transformation objectives.
  • You build strong stakeholder relationships and can navigate the stakeholder landscape, building trust and influence.
  • You enjoy upskilling leaders and can champion through direct advocacy and change stewardship while also building a change network you can tap into.
  • You naturally develop people-centric outcomes-based change/delivery plans and want to ensure that change management requirements are part of others’ plans.
  • You like the challenge of defining and monitoring indicators for change, incl. benefits and value realisation.
  • You have an eye for analysing change readiness, appetite, progress, barriers, risk etc. and are prepared with mitigating tactics and actions.
  • You understand the importance of good communication and like collaborating with stakeholders to develop, execute and monitor plans for communications.
  • You facilitate accelerated change – apply techniques and methods for engaging people to motivate change and build more robust change capabilities within Aker BP.
