In the role as Drilling & Wells engineer you will be enrolled in our graduate program and be part of an enthusiastic Drilling & Wells team that succeeds by working side by side, as equal partners, in alliances with the best suppliers in the industry. The time from development of new technology to implementation is short in Aker BP. We develop products in our digital lab, and our aim is to revolutionize how engineers work with well intervention and well construction. Typical work tasks can be:

  • Perform drilling and well engineering work in close collaboration with other engineers.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operational challenges on a drilling rig.
  • Offshore rotation, finalizing operational plans (Rig Action Plans, casing tally).
  • Planning of Well Cost and Schedule

Qualifications:

  • You have recently graduated or are due to graduate in 2025 with an MSc within petroleum, subsea, information technology, chemistry, cybernetics, physics, mathematics, industrial economics or similar.
  • You are fluent in English or Norwegian.
