As petrophysics graduate you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team that is responsible for accurately assessing the potential of hydrocarbon reservoirs and optimizing oil and gas production.
Typical work tasks can be:
- Formation evaluation: Integrating well log data, core data, and other geological and geophysical data to evaluate the potential of a reservoir, identify hydrocarbon-bearing zones, and estimate reserves.
- Reservoir characterization: Contributing to reservoir characterization studies by providing petrophysical inputs and guide the distribution of reservoir properties.
- Contributor in digital developments within the petrophysical domain. Application of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to interpret data, predict reservoir properties, and optimize production processes. AI can enhance reservoir characterization and assist in making complex decisions based on historical data and real-time information.
Qualifications:
- You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2024 with an MSc within petroleum, geology, geophysics, digitalization, chemistry, physics, mathematics or similar.
- You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience.
- English and/or Norwegian language working proficiency.
